General Thoughts:

Again the debate between Laser and Optical sensors… the wireless version of this mouse has a laser sensor, the Tournament Edition (on this page) has a top optical. I generally don’t review laser mice because they always have issues. If you’re playing seriously, get a top optical sensor. Wireless is fine these days, they’ve tested it to show no real delay, so it’s just the sensor causing issues now. And of course extra weight with the battery.

Outside of that, Razer had a near top mouse with this one, with just a shape issue that could easily be fixed in the next version. As usual, there’s no such thing as the perfect mouse, so these still have some problems, but overall they’re really good. The scroll wheel and cables have been improved a lot. As a mouse, it’s a top entry into the list, but it could have broken into the Top 10 if if not for the shape and weight. Still worth a look and I’m sure a lot of people out there will love it, but I think there are better mice for FPS. Even the wireless version will suit some people!
