General Thoughts:

The Roccat Kone Pure Military is loved and hated because of the shape, so the Kone Pure Owl-Eye is going to be the same. It has some nice improvements with the sensor and cable, but overall it’s still essentially the same mouse. In some ways, I actually prefer the Military version because of the rubberized sides and soft buttons. The new material on the Owl-Eye is meant to be better for sweat though, with a UV coating, so if you have issues with sweat, maybe it’s worth trying.

As a general recommendation though, it’s great, one of the best quality mice around and it still has a good scroll wheel, even though the one on the Military is actually the best in my opinion.

Tough call. I love the mouse and play great with it, but it’s really up to you if you think the shape is right for you or not. If the shape is right, then absolutely, great mouse! If not… maybe look for something else. If it’s too small, check out the Roccat Kone EMP instead.

It might also be worth checking out the Military version, see if you can get a good deal. Careful though, some do have lens rattle issues and the 3310 sensor is more likely to spin out from the tilt slam test (see review video).
